Nova Scotia Advisory Council on the Status of Women
The Nova Scotia Advisory Council on the Status of Women educates the public and advises the provincial government on issues of interest and concern to women. On their web site you will fink links to local, provincial, national, and international Women's Organizations and other sites of interest.

Adsum for Women
Adsum House provides services and an emergency shelter for homeless women and children while Bryony House serves the needs of abused women and children.

Woman Abuse Prevention
The Education Wife Assault web site contains valuable information about abuse. Education Wife Assault's mission is to inform and educate the community about the issue of wife assault/woman abuse in order to decrease the incidence of physical, psychological, emotional and sexual violence against women and the effect that woman abuse has on children.
