Join the Adventure... The Ultimate Adventure June 5, 2010

Items you may wish to bring with you on Adventure Day:
  -  Suitable clothing for athletics. (You may wish to bring a change of clothes)
  -  Water
  -  Loonies and Toonies (You never know they may come in useful!)

An Adventure Passport and the scavenger hunt list will be provided to you on Adventure Day at the team check-in. Please keep your passport in a safe place-it will determine your placement in the race. Please do not be late for team check-in.

Object of the Game:

The object of the hunt is to accumulate the most points. This is not a timed race. Points are earned by gathering items along the route and solving clues to locate the hidden pit stops. Additional points may be earned for the best costume(s) and decorated car. Prizes will be awarded to the team that earns the most points, and the individual who raises the most money.

Once you locate a pit stop your Adventure Passport will be stamped for points. At the pit stops you may encounter one of the following:

Road Block: Choose one team member to complete a task before proceeding.
Fast Forward: The first team to locate the pit stop may choose to complete a shorter/easier task before proceeding.
Buy Out: The Team may choose to participate in the activity or may wish to purchase points instead.

Game Rules:

1. One vehicle per team. All team members must check-in at each pit stop together or you will be disqualified.

2. Team must display the Adventure flag on your vehicle at all times. (Flags will be distributed on Adventure Day) If you return at the end of the day without your flag you will be deducted points.

3. Pit stops. You do not have to go to all pit stops however you will earn points for each stamp you collect. You decide which are the most valuable to your team. Do not assume that all pit stops have the same point value.

4. This is not a race. Spotters will be watching for any excessive speed and anyone with a speeding infraction will be disqualified with no refund. Any team who receives a motor vehicle infraction (i.e. parking ticket) will be deducted points.

5. All individual team members must complete and sign the registration and waiver form.

6. Any team spotted not wearing their seatbelts will be disqualified with no refund.

7. Any team disqualified due to an infraction is welcome to attend the awards dinner.

8. Teams must report back to Oasis Bar and Eatery by 4:30 or they will lose half of their points earned. Anyone arriving after 5:00 will forfeit all points earned.

9. In the event of a good natured dispute, the decision of the Bryony House judge is final.

Bryony House does not take responsibility for any injury sustained during this event.

Please have fun but do it safely!
